02 may 2022 "Carеerists" Entertains The Audiеnce At The Opera

In troubled times - not only locally but also globally, the messages of the musical by Parashkev Hadjiev "Servants of God", which will be presented on Wednesday, May 4, at 19:00 in the hall of the Burgas Opera, sound relevant. We are painfully familiar with the events in the entertaining production, the characters have an astonishingly modern look, and the ridicule of the pursuit of power by all possible means also corresponds to our time. The comedy satire "Servants of God" is based on the libretto by Bancho Banov, based on the comedy of the same name by Ivan Vazov. Grandfather Vazov is a well-known connoisseur of our people's psychology, which, alas, is unwaveringly stagnant, even in today's dynamic days. The award-winning maxim is that art is like a barometer of unflattering facts and attitudes, even just to help us realize the root causes of them ... presence, absurd situations, and sincere laughter with a sarcastic-bitter-instructive character. And the refrain: "Service, service, small, big, there is nothing better than you!" sounds as if today, completely in line with the devaluation of values ... Both funny and slightly sad findings are made during the show, and the residual feeling is the bitter taste of realized truths under the camouflage of comedic situations, revealing each of the characters in their characteristic light. The conductor of "Sluzhbogontsi" on Wednesday is the famous maestro Ivan Kozhuharov. The director of the play, which brilliantly and with surgical precision, where the blade falls on the most painful topics, reflects our time, although the action in Vazov's play takes place in the early twentieth century, is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev. of Ivan Tokadjiev, costume designer is Chavdar Chomakov, choir conductor - Nevena Mihaylova, the dances are the work of Galina Kalcheva, concertmaster - Hristo Belchev. Loaded with genuine mood and artistic jokes, the production will be presented on Wednesday, May 4, with the inspired and distributed stage presence of the soloists: Delyan Slavov, bass /debut /, in the role of Minister Nikola Baltov, who is being sought for " sweet service "close, more distant and most distant relatives and acquaintances. Soprano Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova arouses sincere laughter and admiration in the image of the touching with her sincerity and easily manipulated ministerial daughter Anichka, seduced by the experienced hypocritical seducer Horov, who seeks only personal benefits, but is operated by feelings. Srebrina Slavova, a mezzo-soprano, takes on the role of Grandma Donna, who, in addition to knitting on two hooks, is also trying to weave human relationships. Baritone Yordan Hristozov plays the typical role of Stancho Kvasnikov, a relative of the provincial minister, who is hiding his insidious goals. The tenor Marcho Apostolov, a guest, is temperamental and super-comical like Khorov, who graduated from an agricultural school in Switzerland, but with claims to a diplomatic career - through marriage on account of the minister's daughter. Diman Panchev, bass, enters the image of the Bozduganski frog, who always carries a pistol in his pocket - just in case, and is ready to marry the cartoon Polixena to benefit. The soprano Shmilena Sultanova is the charming Mrs. Terziyska, who several times "makes" service to her lazy husband, a loser, but unfortunately confuses the object of the possible benefit in the plot of "Sluzhbogontsi". Lyudmila Mihailova, soprano, has an aristocratic demeanor in the image of the secular lady of high society Shiykova, who skillfully weaves intrigue, plays the role of matchmaker, and is aware of everything that is happening in the capital city. Lina Peeva, a mezzo-soprano, is the mind-bogglingly comical and healthy laughing Polixena - a squinting old girl for whom "there is no bad man". Soprano Vessela Apostolova is charming in the role of the modest, sincere girl from the Stoyanka people, in love with Elijah - in the role of her lover - Nikolai Nikolov. The tenor Miroslav Dimitrov is in the role of the journalist Dramkov, ready to serve the interests of every party in power. Valyu Totev is in the image of MP Chalkanov, Alexander Perperliev plays the role of the little man Kakavidov, whose fate, built through heartbreaking pleas that provoke regret, as well as unscrupulous denunciations, has an unexpected outcome ... The trademark of the production of "Sluzhbogontsi" is the intelligent directing, as well as the bright presence of each of the participants. And laughter - healing and purifying, is guaranteed, and the audience will be so necessary charge for the complex time, saturated with overdoses of stress…
