The evening of the second of March will color with different shades of mood those present at the concert "Chardash, Wine and Love" in the Opera Hall.
The concert performance has deliberately combined in its title concepts that make a reference to the pleasures of life, so necessary, especially in times of crisis. And art is even more necessary and irreplaceable in difficult times, measurable by almost a year, which marked our workday with a greater dose of fear than is permissible to maintain the balance of emotions and a healthy level of good mood. And "Chardash, Wine and Love", a project realized on the idea of the soloist of the Burgas Opera Lyudmila Mihaylova, aims to be an antidote to inertia, heartlessness, and despair. Even in unusual times, everyone should find a niche for contact with art, which is an essential element of a meaningful and full existence.
The concert of the soloists from the Burgas State Opera Lyudmila Mihailova - soprano, Yordan Hristozov - baritone, and Diman Panchev - bass is aimed at a wide audience and will be welcomed by people of different ages. The beautiful musical motifs from famous works by Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Strauss, Lehar, Kalman, Hrennikov and Mussorgsky will be presented with an emotional charge that will electrify the stage of the Opera, and the temperamental dances characteristic of operetta will excite the audience and will charge with the charming combination of chardash and love. The two young and talented pianists Daria Krasteva and Nina Reichel will be at the piano in the Opera Hall.
Lyudmila Mihailova is the winner of the award for Active Creative Activity - Musician of the Year for 2016 at the Bulgarian National Radio. "Chardash, Wine and Love" is a project in which lovers of classical music will hear some of the most famous opera arias and operetta ensembles. With a lot of dancing and mood, we hope that the audience will experience with us an exceptional evening that will charge people with a lot of love and hope, and drive away from the apathy that was accumulating in our hearts during the pandemic. We are all looking forward to the return of the time when we felt free. I hope that our concert will cause a lot of mood and smiles, and even make us fly for a while ", says Lyudmila Mihaylova.
