A splendor that combines the elements of a masterfully created and presented spectacle - tonight on the stage of the Burgas Summer Theater - Official page with THE CZARDAS QUEEN / Die Csárdásfürstin directed by Prof. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev, conducted by Ivan Kozhuharov!

The last performance of the summer season of "The Czardas Queen" - for the first time on the stage of the Summer Theater in Burgas, reconfirmed the admiration and stormy reactions from the audience, caused by the stage magic and charm of the latest production of the State Opera - Burgas, directed by Prof. Alexander Tekeliev and set design by Ivan Tokadzhiev.
Glitter, a waterfall of emotions, magnificent acting, presenting the colorful characters, beautifully vocally supported parts by all performers, a wonderfully sounding orchestra - stylish, with mood and completely in the style of the operetta genre, under the masterly inspired baton of the renowned conductor Ivan Kozhuharov - everything was there in this performance - again, on the stage and at the Summer Theater.

Despite the rain, which prevented even more people from joining in the exciting atmosphere of the performance, the audience was sufficiently numerous, enthusiastic, and generous, with stormy reactions and ovations.

Frame after frame, like in a beloved film from the “good old days”, the exciting story unfolded on stage, in which all the elements of a quality spectacle were organically woven – with brilliant directorial ideas and a splendor of colors, lighting effects, and charming costumes.

All the soloists deserved admiration: the wonderful Ioana Kadiyska, the embodiment of the image of the Queen of Csárdás Silva Varescu – strong in spirit, with her inherent pride, backed up by dignity and undeniable charm; her wonderful stage partner Penyo Pirozov /guest/, who once again presented himself with exceptional professionalism – both in terms of the impact of his voice and as an overall artistic presence; the turbulent Yani Nikolov = fresh and irrepressible in the image of the women’s favorite Boni, who, however, gives his heart only to his favorite Stasi; the charming Maria Yurkovskaya – completely merged with the image of the coquette Stasi – fresh, bursting with emotions, captivating the senses; the incredibly artistic and funny Diman Panchev – in the role of Feri Bachi, a writer who writes his novels with plots from “real life”; Miroslav Dimitrov – in the characteristic role of the waiter Mishka – with incredible humorous hits and a bright presence; the charming Lyudmila Mihaylova – stylish and memorable – in terms of role development and excellent vocal mastery, as Tsylika, the former Queen of the Czardas; Milen Dinolov – as the notary who drew up the contract between Edwin and Silva; Petar Tiholov – arousing tenderness and sincere laughter in the image of the old Prince; Emil Peychev – as the General, who brings important news and inspires authority.

Congratulations for the large-scale and balanced sound of the choir of the Burgas Opera with conductor Alexander Chepanov, for the excellent performance of the musicians of the orchestra – united by the energy and inner spark of Ivan Kozhuharov, for the wonderful ballet dancers – who presented the stage splendor under the choreography of Marina Zmeeva-Markova, for the specialists from the technical services who ensured a performance at the highest level – in terms of sound and vision.

At the end of the performance, which was another event of the Burgas Music Festival “Emil Chakarov”, realized for the eighteenth time by the State Opera – Burgas and the Municipality of Burgas, the traditional basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the mayor, Mr. Dimitar Nikolov.
And all the soloists received a pleasant surprise on stage after the performance – perfume from the brand “Perfumes for Millions” – Plovdiv, who thanked them for the emotion with which the artists gifted them and described them as “great professionals”.
On October 7th of this year, the "Queen of Czardas" will perform on the stage of the House of Culture - Plovdiv. Good luck!
