One of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's most frequently performed operas, "The Marriage of Figaro" will be re-introduced on the Burgas stage at the beginning of the new creative season of the State Opera - Burgas - on October 11, 19.00 hours at the Opera Hall. The comic opera of the Viennese classic is based on the libretto of Lorenzo da Ponte, based on the comedy of the same name by Pierre Beaumarchais. It was first performed on May 1, 1786, in Vienna. For over 200 years, the comedy opera has been staged on the world stage with great success.
On the stage of the Burgas Opera, with mood, funny storylines, intertwining various comic situations, discrepancies, provoking violent reactions of the characters, leading to twists in relationships, doubts, jealousy, once again passionate passion - the tangled emotions of the finale are intertwined in one a happy ending in which everyone is satisfied with the turn of events and takes on a peaceful and loving path through their lives.
In the role of Count Almaviva - a devious treacherous plan to capture the beautiful fiancee of Figaro Susana, we will see Valerie Turmanov, baritone. As Countess Almaviva, who experiences the lustful thoughts of her husband, but who succeeds - with the help of her friends and associates, united by a clever plan, to reclaim the feelings of the Count, is the soprano Nona Krestnikova. Maria Tsvetkova - Madjarova, soprano, will play the role of the gentle, charming, and loyal to the fiancé and mistress of the countess - Suzana. Figaro himself, endowed with wit and combinability, is Kostadin Mechkov's bass. Lina Peeva, mezzo-soprano, will be present on stage as Cherubino. In the image of the housekeeper Marcelina, who also plays an important role in the story development, will be reincarnated by mezzo-soprano Joanna Kadiyska. The bass player Diman Panchev will play the role of Don Bartolo, Doctor, and in the roles of Don Basilio, music teacher, and Don Curzio, judge, tenor Nikolay Motsov - guest will sing on stage. In the image of the gardener, Antonio will be Peter Tiholov, and Barbara, daughter of the gardener - Stefka Hristozova.
The conductor of the show will be maestro Tsanislav Petkov.
