30 august 2023 "Symphony Melody Rock" Rocked The Summer Theater in Varna

SYMPHONY-MELODY ROCK / SYMPHONY-MELODY ROCK rocked the Varna Summer Theater tonight.
The Orchestra of the Burgas State Opera, Jazz Formation "Sofia", the soloists: Ralitza Petkova Ralitza Petkova - electric violin, Yana Chakalska - vocals and Adriana Benova - vocals, under the baton of maestro Svilen Simeonov Svilen Simeonov, presented an explosion of dynamics, energy, emotional charge, and good music, the diverse program of the "Symphony Melody Rock" concert, which on August 11 was received extremely warmly on the stage of the Burgas Summer Theatre.
The hundreds present at the Summer Theater of our maritime capital were captivated by the sweeping wave of rock music and the messages of rock culture, which even today has its loyal fans.
On the stage of the Summer Theater in Primorsky Park in Varna, famous rock hits were played:
"Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple, "We Will Rock You", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Show Must Go On", "We Are the Champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen, "Mamma Mia" by "ABBA", "Satisfaction" by "Rolling Stones", "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley, "Another Brick In The Wall" by "Pink Floyd", "The House Of The Rising Sun" by " Animals", "I Love Rock N'Roll" by "Eros", "Stairway To Heaven" and "Kashmir" by "Led Zeppelin", "Can't Buy Me Love" by "Beatles", "Gimme, Gimme" / "A Man After Midnight"/ by "ABBA" and "Sweet Child O'Mine" by "Guns and Roses" and others.
The large audience deserved two encores, and an explosive finale of the concert was one of the most popular songs from the late 1980s - "The Final Countdown" by the Swedish group Europe.
The orchestrations and the adaptation of the eternal rock hits for a symphony orchestra and a rock group are the work of maestro Svilen Simeonov, who managed to create an emotional bridge with the audience again, to whom he expressed special thanks. He also thanked the wonderful musicians from the orchestra of the Burgas Opera and Jazz Formation "Sofia", the concertmaster, the leaders of the groups, the solo musicians, the violinist, as well as the two vocalists.
Maestro Simeonov, with understandable excitement, told those present that he has a special feeling for Varna, as he graduated from the Music School in the seaside city, and he especially congratulated his clarinet teacher - Ivan Germanov, who was specially invited by the maestro that evening and attended the exciting concert under his baton. The attractive conductor, a favorite of the audience, also shared the fact that in the audience, apart from his daughter - the talented young violinist Ralitsa Petkova, who was on stage, there was also his son, who is a talented artist with solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, but is accepted to study medicine and takes a different career path without abandoning art.
The concertmaster of the excellent-sounding orchestra of the Burgas Opera was Hristo Belchev.
Maestro Simeonov was supercharged again this evening, moving among the audience, announcing each of the songs in an original way, giving the concert a unique emotional appearance.
One cannot fail to note the high level of technical provision of the concert - such as sound, stage lighting, and overall appearance of the concert event on the beautiful stage with natural landscaping in Varna.
