In the role of the beautiful, proud and assertive prima donna Floria Toska, on July 18, the Burgas audience and guests of the city will have the pleasure of seeing and hearing the exceptional lyric-dramatic soprano Yoana Zhelezcheva, who made her remarkable debut in the role in December on the stage of the Burgas Opera, when she was once again irresistible, as always, and in her new artistic role. She managed to breathe life and emotional power into the female image emblematic of opera creativity, crowned for world premieres such as Maria Kalas and Raina Kabaivanska, and on the stage in Burgas. It is no exaggeration that it is Tosca that emerges as the strongest images created by Zhelezcheva, who seems to open new spaces with her inimitable timbre, and paints in them through the nuanced manifestations of her voice.

The entire solo ensemble that will present the dramatic plot of "Tosca" on Friday is first-rate. Under the baton of the famous maestro Ivan Kozhuharov, on the stage of the Burgas Opera on Friday they appear: in the image of the artist Mario Cavaradossi, Tosca's beloved, the tenor Valery Georgiev enters, who recently became a soloist of the Burgas Opera, and before that he was an honored and welcome guest in a number of roles. Mario Cavaradossi has a free spirit, but a heart captivated by love – the two lovers are connected by a beautiful love marked by tragedy and doom. The synchronicity between Valery Georgiev and Ioana Zhelezcheva is palpable, as they recreate the dynamics of feelings and the tragic reflections of the beauty of their doomed love in unison. And Cavaradossi's famous Aria in the third act, which always, invariably moves, will once again be a long-awaited and emotional highlight of Tuesday's opera evening.

Prof. The famous large-scale Te Deum from the end of the first act, performed by Niko Isakov, the choir and the orchestra of the Burgas Opera, will sound shocking - with the power of the embedded meaningful and symbolic charge. "Tosca" is directed by Assoc. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev - as the stage quests emphasize the deep study of human actions, the reasons giving rise to fateful decisions, as well as the power of our internal choices. The conductor of the wonderful choir is Nevena Mihailova, the concertmaster is Vanya Zlateva. The romantic storyline of "Tosca" is heartbreaking with its tragic denouement. The story is about two lovers - the beautiful, bold, burning with love and passion Floria Tosca and the talented artist Mario Cavaradossi - with a free spirit, but a heart captivated by love. Two people who dared to defy the cruel rules of a harsh world. Their pure love is under the cruel shadow of the powerful villain from whom all Rome trembles - Baron Scarpia, Chief of Police in the Eternal City. Simultaneously with the stage action and plot logic, the stage effects also alternate – video mapping recreating different stages of the characters' dramatic experiences and the symbolism of suffering, as well as the lighting, which reinforces the emotional resonance caused by the tragic events.

The performance of "Tosca" is expected to be a real cultural event for the seaside city - both in quality and in terms of the power of the emotional charge, as the opera by Puccini will not just be presented, sung, played, but felt and experienced. The audience will be initiated into a mystery that contains the dimensions of the purest parameters of Love and Self-Sacrifice, following the dramatic plot line, revealing a very short slice of time for the characters, but containing the whole spectrum of experiences, shocking with its tragic denouement.
