On the Annunciation - one of the great Christian holidays, in which the good news is accepted as a lifeline for new hopes, Burgas State Opera prepared a concert show dedicated to the dimensions of the most exciting feeling - A LOVE STORY. The concert program featured beloved melodies from French classic cinema, characterized by its romantic sound and timeless beauty.
Under the baton of maestro Deyan Pavlov, who invariably conveys his emotional charge and his palpable love for French culture and the messages encoded in it for more harmony and tenderness in relationships, subject to nostalgia for the "good old days", the wonderful soloists: soprano Nona Krastnikova Nona Krastnikova and the tenor Yani Nikolov, who a few days ago presented themselves again in a brilliant stage tandem in their double debut in the operetta by Johann Strauss-son VIENNA KRAV / WIENER BLUT, once again managed to grab the audience with their authentic presence, ease, attitude towards the beautiful melodies and messages of the French chansons and, of course, with impeccable professionalism, padded vocally and as an overall appearance.
For his part, maestro Pavlov skilfully led the audience through verbal announcements in a kind of musical walk, passing through the various shades of feelings - from tenderness, nostalgia, sadness, exaltation, and frankly expressed happiness.
The audience applauded for a long time and received an encore - the march through the cult film of the last decades of the 20th century - "The Policeman of Saint Tropez" with the unforgettable comedian Louis de Fines was performed again. Both soloists and the presenter - Petar Tiholov, who announced each of the performances and at the same time was at the desk as an assistant director, and the musicians and those present in the Opera hall sang the famous melody, which certainly filled with a dose of positivity - quite in sync with the symbolism of the holiday.
Maestro Deyan Pavlov thanked the musicians of the orchestra of the Burgas Opera, with concertmaster Vanya Zlateva, the leaders of the groups, as well as the wonderful young pianist Daria Krasteva Eola Max - for their excellent performance and emotional presentation of the famous scores.
Each performance of the "Love Story" concert led the audience into the refined world of French culture. A well-chosen bouquet of melodies from film music, which also gained independent popularity, was played in the concert performance:
