DON QUIXOTE WITH ANELIYA DIMITROVA/DON QUIXOTE WITH ANELIYA DIMITROVA, opened on the evening of August 15th at the Burgas Summer Theater - Official page with a spectrum of colors, dynamics, and southern temperament.
For the first time on the Burgas stage in the roles of the lovers Kitri and Basil, the prima ballerina of the State Opera - Stara Zagora Aneliya Dimitrova and Daniel Tichkov, premier ballet dancer of the Burgas Opera, performed in the roles of lovers Kitri and Basil.
The cascade of applause accompanying each of their appearances on stage was the best attestation of the quality and impact of their brilliant stage symbiosis.
A beautiful vision, woven into the exquisite synchronized movements of emotion and unadulterated mood flowed from the two wonderful artists.
In the roles inspired by the famous novel of Miguel de Cervantes - Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, were Petar Tiholov - in the image of the Knight of the Sad Image, and in the role of Sancho Panza was Yani Angelov /guest/. The Burgas audience had the pleasure of enjoying the mastery of Teodor Tsakov - Espada, and Natalie Ivanova - with a magnificent debut as Mercedes. The two attractive ballet dancers brilliantly recreated the temperament characteristic of the southern Spanish nationality. As the Mistress of the Dryads, the young ballerina Emona Georgieva was again unquestionably sure, with a memorable presence. She also danced at the premiere performance as well as at the performance on June 28th. Gentle, enchanting, and ethereal on the stage of the Summer Theater was Sabina Koseva - as Amur. As Kitri's Friends, an impressive stage tandem was Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova and Yana Berduta /with a strong debut in the role, after two roles as Mercedes in the previous performances of "Don Quixote"/. Basil's Friends brought a whirlwind temperament to the stage – Kiril Filipov and Anton Ivanov. Iva Ovcharovaand Kiril Filipov shone in the passionate Gypsy dance. As Kitri's father - Lorenzo, Svetlan Nikolov brought a colorful presence to the stage, Svetlan Nikolov Nikolov played the role of the Innkeeper, the charming Sofia Lovdzhieva. Daniel Dimitrov entered Gamache's characteristic comic image - with a great sense of humor.

In "Antre" /picture V/ participated: Iva Ovcharova, Sabina Koseva, Ilina Konstantinova, Emona Georgieva, Gergana Georgieva, Natalie Georgieva;
in Spanish dance - Anelia Ivanova, Maria Gabarova, Bianca-Helen Giovanelli, Patricia Soares, Elena Georgieva, Kiril Filipov, Stefan Tipikov, Deyan Dobrev, Anton Ivanov, Hristo Dobrev.
Graduates of the ballet classes of NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" Burgas - Burgas and Children's Ballet Theater "Kapka" also took part in the large-scale performance, participating - in the beautiful fairy-tale scenes of the dream in which the dryads dance - patrons of the trees.
Wonderful synchronization and artistry were presented this evening by all the artists from the ballet ensemble of the State Opera - Burgas.
The event was part of the Burgas Music Festival "Emil Chakarov", realized by the State Opera - Burgas and the Municipality of Burgas.
At the end of the wonderful ballet evening, flowers were presented on behalf of the mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, by Sylvia Tomova, artistic director and chief artistic director of the ballet troupe of the State Opera - Stara Zagora, who graced the performance with her presence, as well as by wife of the soloist Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova - on the occasion of their wedding anniversary.
