The brilliant coda of the Balchik Classic Days festival staged the concert performance of the Burgas State Opera "Ah, this musical" under the baton of maestro Yordan Dafov. On the open stage "Melnitsa" in close proximity to the beautiful coast of Balchik, the wonderful and loved by both connoisseurs and the general public Edelina Kaneva, Orlin Goranov and Orlin Pavlov, an orchestra and a choir told the eternal story about love - about the struggle between reason and feelings, about the power of prejudices, about the beauty of feelings, about the yearnings of the heart, which - always, invariably, suffers the consequences of its emotional choices.
All this, as a musical-emotional combination, the audience in Balchik had the opportunity to see, hear, feel and experience the exciting concert program, including scores from "West Side Story" by Leonard Bernstein and symphonic paintings from the opera "Porgy and Bess" by George Gershwin.
In front of a large audience, the three famous soloists had a stellar, emotional, and memorable performance. The orchestra and choir of the State Opera - Burgas completed the dramatic narrative of modern Romeo and Juliet, who defend the light of their feelings in a world of misunderstanding and darkness.
