10 may 2023 Brilliant Soloists From NUMSI "Prof. P. Vladigerov" At The Opera
A celebration of talent, embodied in a bright stage presence and incomparable drive of youth, was the performance of the soloists, graduates of NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov", Burgas, in a SYMPHONIC CONCERT this evening in the hall of the Burgas State Opera.
Under the baton of maestro Yordan Dafov and the accompaniment of the orchestra of the Opera, the students of the Music School showed not only confidence in the interpretation of the works, but also awareness in their choice of professional role, which is a combination of gift, purposefulness, dedication, even a dose of self-denial consistency and endless dedication in the creative process.
The large audience this evening was extremely responsive and rewarded the young soloists with rapturous applause, repeatedly bowing back to each of the performers.
The orchestra of the Burgas Opera, with concertmaster Vanya Zlateva, was a reliable stage partner of the young singers and instrumentalists, giving them experience and a sense of security.
In the concert program, this evening sounded:
Concerto for piano and orchestra No. 11 in F major, KV 413 – first movement, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, performed by Virginia Spiridonova, a sixth-grade student in Yana Raicheva's piano class; "Introduction, theme, and variations", opus 102, F major by Johan Nepomuk Hummel, performed by Maria Petkova, class X, in oboe clave by Joana Vangelova-Balabanova Joana Vangelova;
Pamina's aria from Act II of the opera "The Magic Flute" by V. A. Mozart, performed by the soprano Antonia Mutafova Toni Mutafova, class XI of Eleonora Kuncheva's classical singing class; Concerto for violin and orchestra No. 3 in B flat minor, opus 61 - first movement by Camille Saint-Saëns, performed by Olga Doikova Olga Doikova, 9th grade, from the violin class of Lyudmila Ivanova and Veneta Georgieva;
Gilda's aria from Act I of the opera "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi, performed by Ioana Dafova, soprano, a student in grade XII of Bilyana Danailova's classical singing class; for the final, Maria Kahn, class X from Rumyana Dragolova's violin class, performed Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 1 in G minor, opus 26 – second and third movements, by Max Bruch.
Congratulations - both to the young talents, to their teachers, and to the management of the State Opera - Burgas and the National School of Music and Performing Arts NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" Burgas - for the motivation and courage to be together on a big stage - professionals and future ones, for the bridge between generations and the proof of constructive continuity!
A colorful greeting was presented on behalf of Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of the Municipality of Burgas, and on behalf of the management of NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov", Burgas - for maestro Yordan Dafov, who mentored the students during the rehearsal process, as well as an expert prop on the stage during the concert.
