14 december 2023 Burgas Soloists With A Greeting For the Chamber of Commerce
On the evening of December 14, representatives of the business circles gathered in the elegant hall of the Hotel Primorets Burgas for the official celebration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the ceremony, the annual awards were presented to distinguished businessmen.
Representatives of the Burgas State Opera were invited to participate in the program, which was selected with taste and was fully consistent with the character of the event.
Ms. Svetlana Krysteva, administrative director of the Burgas Cultural Institute, thanked on behalf of the management of the Opera House the Initiative Committee of Burgas Women in Business - ladies Marina Boshnakova, Vanya Cholakova and Vidka Valcheva, who organized a charity ball under the title "Let's help let the music not be silent" - for the benefit of the State Opera - Burgas a few years ago. With the collected funds, new sound equipment of the highest class was purchased.
Burgas soloists Lyudmila Mihailova Liudmila Mihailova, Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova, and Yordan Tsvetanov Hristozov, accompanied by pianist Daria Krasteva Eola Max on the piano, gave the festive evening a unique aristocratic spirit and charmed the audience with their professional performance and stylish presence.
At the beginning of the evening, they performed the anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria. And after the official award ceremony, the music and stage program sounded:
"O mio babbino caro" from the opera "Gianni Scicchi" by Giacomo Puccini and Aria of Rusalka / "Moon"/ from the opera "Rusalka" by Antonin Dvořák - performed by Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova, on the piano - Daria Krasteva;
Duet of Silva and Edwin from the operetta "The Queen of the Chardasha" by Imre Kalman and Duet of Maritza and Župan from the operetta "Countess Maritza", also by Kalman - performed by Ludmila Mihailova and Yordan Hristozov, with the piano accompaniment of Daria Krasteva.
The emotional finale of the concert program was the emblematic "Cheers" from the opera "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi when the glasses of all present were raised - as befits a celebration.
A string trio - musicians from the orchestra of the Burgas Opera, performed sophisticated lounge music - in the lobby when the guests were welcomed into the hall.
Performers of folk songs - vocals and bagpipes - took part in the program, a little girl sang amazingly the "cosmic" Bulgarian song "Izlyazel e Delyu haisutin", as well as two wonderful dance couples from the "Burgas Dolphins" Latin Dance Club led by Teodora Ionova, who added an extra artistic flair to the evening.
The host of the evening was the actor Plamen Karov.
The festive cocktail was attended by the regional governor - Mr. Plamen Yanev, diplomats, representatives of the municipal administration, managers of companies of national importance, public figures, and journalists.
