16 june 2020 Concert "Prayer-Faith, Hope and Love" at the Expo Center "Florа" Opera arias will be performed on June 19, at 7.30 pm, on the themed weekend "The Stage Returns"
After the success of the concert "Ethno", included in the first cultural tourist "Ethno Weekend", organized by the Municipality of Burgas, in which songs by Bulgarian composers sounded for the first time performed by opera singers at the Ethnographic Museum, on June 19, from 7.30 pm, a new exciting musical event is coming up. The chamber concert "Prayer" is included in the second weekend of the cultural and tourist program of the Municipality, this time under the title "The Stage Returns", which presents performances by artists from different arts related to a common thematic idea.
Works from the world classics, united by the symbolic title "Prayer - Faith, Hope, Love" will sound in the elegant open space - the garden of the Exposition Center "Flora". The choice of the name of the upcoming concert is not accidental. It is the prayer for trust in faith, for overcoming difficulties, as well as the hope for a calmer and more harmonious life, shared understandings, and more beauty in everyday life, that are so necessary at a time when the dynamics of events precede and surprise any predictions. The fundamental values remain inalienable and with this concert we will remember this maxim - through the means of classical art, charging with the incomparable ennobling power of music.
The concert "Prayer" will feature the soloists: Lyudmila Mihaylova - soprano, Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova - soprano, Nona Krasnikova - soprano, Joanna Kadiyska - mezzo-soprano, Yani Nikolov - tenor, Branimir Nedkov - baritone, Delyan Slavov - bass, Diman Panchev bass, Kostadin Mechkov - bass. Accompaniers: Daria Krasteva and Raina Popova.

The program of the opera concert will include: Valentine's aria from the opera "Faust" by Charles Gounod, performed by Branimir Nedkov, Maria-Desislava's aria from the opera of the same name by Parashkev Hadzhiev will be presented by Lyudmila Mihaylova. We will hear "Elsa's Dream" from the opera Lohengrin by Richard Wagner performed by Nona Krastnikova, the Prayer of Zacharias by Giuseppe Verdi's Nabucco will be performed by Diman Panchev, Joanna Kadiyska will be heard with Fenena's Aria, also by Verdi's Nabucco opera, she will also present Charlotte's Aria from Jules Massenet's Werther. "Ave Maria" from "Othello" by Verdi will be performed by Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Bass aria from "Requiem" by Verdi will perform Delyan Slavov. "Lacrimosa" - also from Verdi's "Requiem", will be performed by Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Joanna Kadiyska, Yani Nikolov, and Delyan Slavov. Nona Krastnikova will present an aria from "Matheus Passion" by Johann Sebastian Bach, an aria from "Stabat Mater" by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi will be performed by Lyudmila Mihaylova, "The Cry of Federico" from the opera "The Arlesian" by Francesco Chilea will be performed by young tenor Yani Nikolov. Bassist Kostadin Mechkov will sing Fiesco's Aria from the opera "Simon. Bocanegra" by Giuseppe Verdi Banko's aria from Verdi's opera Macbeth. The finale of "Prayer" will be an ensemble from the opera "The Wedding of Figaro" by W.A Mozart, performed by all soloists.
The choir of the State Opera - Burgas will also take part in the opera concert, which will complement the atmosphere of "Prayer - Faith, Hope, and Love" with a large-scale sound and emotional impact.
The sound of the violin, performed by Hristo Belchev, will fit perfectly into the aesthetic completeness of the program.
