With this year's "Emil Chakarov" award, which was established in 2011 and is traditionally presented during the Burgas Music Festival in the name of the distinguished Bulgarian conductor of international fame, the great baritone with a worldwide career, Kiril Manolov, was honored. The first winner of the prestigious prize, bearing the name of the world-renowned Bulgarian conductor, is the renowned violinist Mincho Minchev.
The award will be presented officially during the opera gala "Kyril Manolov and Friends" - on August 31, Wednesday, at 8:30 p.m., on the stage of the Summer Theater - Burgas. With the solemn gala under the precise baton of maestro Grigor Palikarov, the fifteenth edition of the Burgas Music Festival "Emil Chakarov" 2022, organized by the State Opera - Burgas, with the partnership of the Municipality of Burgas, will be officially closed. Maestro Palikarov is the winner of the prestigious prize named after Emil Chakarov for 2019. The beautiful mezzo-soprano Daniela Dyakova, who was a magnificent Carmen in the opera of the same name by Georges Bizet, and a respectable Ulrika in "Ball with masks " by Verdi, also during the "Opera of the Sanctuary" festival in August.
