29 may 2026 Exciting Performance of "La Traviata" on Friday
Footage from the exciting performance of LA TRAVIATA, which filled the hall of the Burgas State Opera with emotion and beautiful music on Friday evening under the baton of Darius Vishnevsky /Luxembourg/ - guest.
Congratulations on the dedication in the creative process and the magnificent performance of all the wonderful performers: soloists, orchestra, choir and ballet, as well as to the specialists from the technical services, who ensured the dazzling spectacle!
The guest conductor, even for the short time of the rehearsal process, managed to encompass the process of creating a complete musical and stage product, in which each element was in its place - carrying messages, impacting, leaving emotional traces. The artists and musicians presented their best, creating the overall beauty of the performance, which carries the characteristics of high artistic value - such as performance, direction, scenography and spatial-visual solutions. The themes of the reflection of states in the human soul - in the mirror of social prejudices and in the well of one's own fears and traumas, were brilliantly built - through artistic presence, dynamic nuances and stage effects.
Congratulations - for the dedication, strong inner charge and captivating emotionality of all the wonderful soloists: Ilina Mihaylova - at the same time glamorous - in her secular role, and vulnerable - as a vulnerable woman in love - in the role of Violetta Valery; Reynaldo Droz - combining stage charisma and wonderful cantilena singing - in the image of Alfred Germont; Alexander Krunev - impeccable - both in voice and presence - as Alfred's father - Georges Germont; Maria Yurkovskaya - stylish and memorable in the role of Flora Bervois - congratulations on the strong debut; Stefka Hristozova - with a gentle unobtrusive appearance as Anina; as well as all the other characters who told the tragic story of two doomed souls: Milen Dinolov - as Vicomte Gaston de Letorie, Kostadin Mechkov - in the image of Alfred's rival - Grad Dufault, Andrey Yurkovsky - in the role of the Marquis d'Aubigny, Diman Panchev - as Doctor Grenville, Miroslav Dimitrov - Joseph, Violetta's servant, and Nikolay Nikolov - Flora's servant.
