In the festive concert dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the famous Bulgarian baritone Alexander Krunev, on April 27, Thursday, at 7 p.m. in the hall of the Burgas Opera, the richness of his timbres and emotional presence in the wonderfully selected musical program - in a stage partnership with the great Bulgarian singer, will present: sopranos Yoana Zhelezcheva and Stanislava Momekova, tenors Andreya Mirchev, Valery Georgiev, Daniel Damyanov and Yani Nikolov, baritone Branimir Nedkov and basses Delyan Slavov, Diman Panchev, and Ivaylo Dzhurov.
The brilliant set of selected vocal works, performed by the soloists of the State Opera - Burgas and the guest soloists, will be presented to the accompaniment of the orchestra and choir of the State Opera - Burgas. The conductor of the large-scale event, in which arias and ensembles from world opera literature will be performed, will be maestro Deyan Pavlov - an honored and welcome guest on the Burgas stage, concertmaster of the orchestra of the State Opera - Burgas - Vanya Zlateva, choir conductor - Nevena Mihailova.
Maestro Deyan Pavlov will have the honor of conducting the impressive program, presenting masterpieces from the creative treasury of some of the most performed composers.
In the hall of the Burgas Opera House on April 27, in the concert performance "Alexander Krunev and Friends", the following will be performed: "Prologue" from the opera "Pagliacci" by Ruggiero Leoncavallo, Aria by Manrico and Duet by Leonora and Count di Luna from the opera "The Troubadour" by Giuseppe Verdi, Aria of the Doll Olympia" from "Hoffmann Stories" by Jacques Offenbach, Aria of Don Basilio /"Aria of Libel"/ from "The Barber of Seville" by Gioacchino Rossini, Duet of Don Pasquale and Malatesta" from the opera "Don Pasquale" and Alfonso's Aria from the opera "The Favorite" by Gaetano Donizetti, "Rondo of Mephistopheles" from the opera "Faust" by Charles Gounod, "Zacharia's Aria" from "Nabucco" by Giuseppe Verdi, Duet of Attila and Ezio from the opera "Attila" by Verdi, Duet of Gilda and Rigoletto from the opera Rigoletto by Verdi, the bel canto aria Casta Diva from the opera Norma by Vincenzo Bellini, O sole mio! by Eduardo di Capua, as well as popular Italian and Spanish canzonets - "Funiculi funicula", "Granada", "Mamma", "Amapola", etc.
A bravura finale of the festive gala will be the iconic "Cheers" from the opera "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi, in which the coda of the evening will be put on stage by all the soloists and choral artists who participated in the gala evening, of course, together with the "culprit" for the solemn event - Alexander Krunev. The outstanding baritone-soloist of the State Opera - Burgas, performed with great success in front of a large audience at the end of March this year on the Burgas stage in one of his crowning roles - the sad jester Rigoletto in the opera of the same name by Giuseppe Verdi, in which has reincarnated over 100 times. Krunev has in his repertoire a remarkable set of images, which he recreates with remarkable maturity, depth, artistry, stability, and brilliant vocal prowess.
