The first event of the "Opera on the Sanctuary" festival - OPERA NA SVETILISHTETO'24 - RIGOLETTO / OPERA ON THE SANCTUARY'24 - RIGOLETTO, carried out for the fifth time by the State Opera Burgas and the Municipality of Primorsko, was a real cultural celebration this evening.
The Verdi masterpiece unfolded the tragic story in an inimitable way under the starry sky of the mystical Strandzha.
Under the baton of Prof. Dr. Grigor Palikarov, soloists, orchestra, and choir were fully united with the messages of the opera, presented in an extremely impressive way among the ancient Thracian megalithic blocks.
An impressive element, conveying the aura of a fairy tale to life, was the multimedia that made the rocks "come alive" - ​​revealing wondrous pictures combined with technical effects recreating natural phenomena.
Admirations for the wonderful soloists: Maryan Jovanoski, Ilina Mihailova /guest/, Valery Georgiev, Delyan Slavov, Ioana Kadiyska, Kalina Popova, Kostadin Mechkov, Petar Tiholov, Nona Krastnikova, Yordan Hristozov, Valyo Totev and Stefka Hristozova!
Through the constructed full-blooded images, they recreated the dramatic plot in an unforgettable way.
Congratulations also to the entire team of professionals from the technical services - on the difficult natural terrain, they once again proved their class.
The event, traditionally perfectly organized by the Burgas Opera and the Municipality of Primorsko, was honored by the mayor of the Municipality of Primorsko - Mr. Ivan Gaikov.
