04 december 2022 The Gala Concert Of DBT "Kapka" - Extravaganza And Elegance

The prima ballerina and premier ballet dancer of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, Marta Petkova, who recently became the director of the ballet at the SOB, and Nikola Khajitanev were special guests at the GALA CONCERT of DBT "KAPKA" this evening in the hall of the Burgas State Opera.
They performed in delightful emotional and technical synchronicity "Adagio" from the ballet "Anna Karenina" to the music of PI Tchaikovsky.
The wonderfully talented ballerinas from the Children's Ballet Theater "Kapka", led by Kapka Rogleva and tutor Galina Kalcheva, presented themselves with individual performances, duets and ensembles, showing mastery, finesse and turning desire and dedication during the rehearsal process into beauty and grace.
Graduates of DBT "Kapka" are winners of numerous international and national awards, and some of the most prominent ballerinas regularly participate in performances of the State Opera - Burgas.
Young dancers from the "Dune" Dance School with director and choreographer Petya Stoykova also took part in the rich program.
Leading the ballet gala was the charming Sofia Lovdzhieva-Svetlozarova.
The gala concert was dedicated to the unforgettable Grisha Roglev.
At the end of the two-hour ballet extravaganza, a basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the Mayor of Burgas Municipality, Dimitar Nikolov.
