After the creative leave in January, and the first successful events of the program for February on the Burgas stage - the educational concert "Orchestra, instruments and sound" and the children's ballet performance "The Little Red Riding Hood", the composition of the Burgas State Opera once again proved its high-performance class with the concert performance LOVE STORY - tonight in the crowded hall of the cultural institute.
Under the extremely inspired conductor's baton of maestro Deyan Pavlov, the beautiful melody, the tender sensuality, the lyrical soul shades, and the refined attitude to the "things of life" of the music from the "golden years" of French cinema sounded - with unique finesse, mastery, and emotional commitment.
Each of the performances of the magnificent young soloists of the Burgas Opera - the mezzo-soprano Ioana Kadiyska and the tenor Yani Nikolov - was greeted with thunderous cheers and applause from the intelligent and sympathetic audience.
The two soloists built their exciting performances, accompanied by spontaneous applause, with a palpable love for French culture, with perfect pronunciation of the lyrics, sounding in the "language of love".
And, of course, with impressive vocal prowess.
The Burgas audience will have the chance to watch and listen to the two wonderful young singers - again in tandem, in the roles of Elena and Paris, in a few days - in the comic opera The Beautiful Elena - on February 17 at 7 p.m. аt the Opera hall.
The orchestral accompaniment and solo instrumental performances of the musicians, with concertmaster Hristo Belchev, this evening were under the sign of a stylish, dense sonority, at times - ethereal, with an element of banter, at other times - in the nostalgic messages of the French chanson.
The orchestra built the musical scores with impressive dynamics and professionalism.
The wonderful musicians - the concertmaster, the leaders of the groups, all the orchestra players, as well as the two pianists - Mira Iskarova Mira Iskarova and Daria Krasteva Eola Max, deserved admiration.
Maestro Deyan Pavlov distinguished himself with a fresh presence and a sense of humor, making direct contact with the audience - in an original and unobtrusive way.

Host of the evening - as a voice "behind the scenes" was Lina Peeva, who announced each of the performances, leading the audience into the beautiful world of French music and worldview.
At the end of the concert, which turned into a holiday - on the eve of Valentine's Day and wine, the attendees were invited to the lobby for a glass of high-quality organic wine. The wine greeting was provided - once again, from the cellars of Thracian legends.
During the entire concert, on the festively arranged stage, distinguished by its stylish look and lighting, there was also the traditional colorful greeting on behalf of the Mayor of Burgas Municipality - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov.
