09 march 2024 High Degree Of Emotions With The Chamber Concert In The Lobby
the cold Saturday morning of March 9 managed to heat up the atmosphere in the lobby of the Burgas State Opera with the magnificently presented concert program of another event in the series THE SOLISTS OF THE STATE OPERA – BURGAS. The wonderful young singers Ioana Kadiyska and Yani Nikolov, under the class accompaniment of Mira Iskarova, Bulgarian pianist, composer, and teacher at the National Music Academy "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Sofia, managed to lead the audience, which resonated emotionally at each of the performances, in the world of music from different eras and styles - skillfully, with finesse, attitude towards the audience and an intelligent sense of humor.
The skillfully selected program of the vocal concert included works from the pre-classical and Viennese classics by V. A. Mozart, as well as popular canzonets and the undoubted surprise - Maria's Aria from the only tango opera "Maria of Buenos Aires" by Astor Piazzolla. The audience had the privilege of immersing themselves in the exquisite context, transformed with charm and unquestionable professionalism by the three performers who managed to achieve a remarkable synchronicity - both as following the logic of the script, and as individual brightness, and as a musical-stage ensemble with a unified emotion. and as a balance between the individual components of the program.
The tenor Yani Nikolov managed to enter the role of a charismatic leader of the concert. He joked that he would not have been able to sleep if he had not performed the famous Neapolitan song "O, Sole mio", which, of course, sounded in the lobby of Opera, and invited the attendees to also visit the performance of VIENNA BLOOD / WIENER BLUT - on March 12 in the hall of the Burgas Opera, when with his colleagues Nona Krastnikova /also a debut for her/, Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova and Shmilena Sultanova, who were also on concert, will present the vitally beautiful music of Johann Strauss-son to the wonderful performance directed by Mario Nikolov.
The charming mezzo-soprano Joanna Kadiyska also elegantly presented the most characteristic of each of her performances, with the highest emotional amplitude and impact achieved in her performance of Piazzolla.
Pianist Mira Iskarova, who was also at the piano at the previous concert of the "Soloists of the State Opera - Burgas" series, when Shmilena Sultanova and Branimir Nedkov also performed beautifully, managed to achieve the appropriate tone extraction for the style of each work, being an equal participant in the sculpting of each of the performances - both musically and as embedded thought and emotional subtext.
Admirations for all!
