19 october 2023 The II Round of the "Stoyan Popov" Competition Took Place Today

Today, October 19, at 12 o'clock in the hall of the Burgas State Opera, the second round of the II NATIONAL COMPETITION FOR OPERA SINGERS "STOYAN POPOV" took place with international participation.
16 young opera singers - 7 women and 9 men were in a contested stage competition, trying to show the best of their vocal capacity, honed in preparation for the competition - which is no less a factor in the success of such a responsible forum.
Congratulations to all the participants - they showed a high level and respect - to the event organized by the Burgas Opera, with the assistance of the Municipality of Burgas, as well as to the jury, the Burgas Cultural Institute, and the patron of the competition - maestro Stoyan Popov.
The piano accompaniment of the accompanists, who managed to be expert partners of the singers in their overall performance, was also wonderful.
And on the stage - both today and during yesterday's I tour, Stoyan Popov was symbolically present - apart from his photo - part of the photo exhibition "90 years of Stoyan Popov", which continues to be exhibited in the lobby of the Opera House, and with a specially designated for him an armchair on the stage.
