Beauty, grace, finesse, the elegant escape from reality - in the realms of fairy worlds, times, and relationships - these are the sure means of spiritual salvation in too long times of trial.
Tonight the two ballet performances in the hall of the Burgas Opera proved it - through the exciting combination of music, choreography, beautiful scenery, costumes charisma of the performers.
It is a tradition to turn every ballet evening into a kind of spiritual holiday, which brings together audiences from different generations - from passionate about fine art young ballerinas and ballet dancers, to people of advanced age, who have traced the continuity and consolidation of ballet traditions in our seaside town.
Friday night in the hall of the Burgas Opera was also festive.
The two different - and as a style, and as musical messages, and as an overall vision and messages, the performance - "Scheherazade" - to the music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and "Romantic" - to musical motifs by one of the most prominent representatives of Romanticism - Franz Schubert, he was reaffirmed. Both ballets are choreographed and directed by the renowned master of the in-depth and original interpretation of eternal themes and concepts - Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov, who tonight honored with his presence and good words and instructions after the performances of the ballet troupe of the Burgas Opera.
And the audience was grateful and charged with a sufficient dose of antidote to everyday stress.
The scenography of the famous Boris Stoynov Tsvetanka Petkova-Stoynova took the audience to the fabulous possessions of "1001 Nights" in Persia.
The scenography and costumes of the enchanting beautiful impression "Romantic", subordinated to the canons of harmony and the aesthetic combination of drama and lyricism, are the work of Nedko Georgiev. Petar Tiholov is the assistant director of both productions.
Tonight, the tutor of the ballet ensemble Galina Kalcheva was visibly pleased with the two successful performances.
Soloists and an ensemble of the ballet ensemble at the State Opera - Burgas took part in the performances.
Prima ballerina Ivanina Ivanova was the seductive and plastic eastern princess Scheherazade.
The dizzy Teodor Tsakov played the role of Roba, who seduces the princess. In the image of Shahriar, who is stern, angry, but forgiving, was the Prime Minister-ballet dancer Daniel Tichkov - who was like an energetic explosion on the stage, in the image of the Eunuch was Svetlan Nikolov - artistic and able to convey messages without words.
In the fairy tale, told through the means of ballet, had a bright stage presence: Yana Berduta, Adriana-Maria Manasieva, Daniela Turtumanova Laya Ramon, Iva Ovcharova, Ivana Fialkovska, Natalie Ivanova, Elena Georgieva, Bianca-Helenia Giovanni Giovanni Lora Pehlivanova, Maria Gabarova, Kiril Filipov, Stefan Tipikov and others.
In the ballet performance, "Romantic" was presented - in semantic and emotional synchrony: Ivanina Ivanova, Polina Ivanova, Teodor Tsakov, Daniel Tichkov, Yana Berduta, Laya Ramon, Stefan Tipikov, Kiril Filipov, and others.
At the end of the ballet evening, the traditional basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov.
