11 april 2024 Magical "Thumbelina For Children From Burgas Kindergartens
The graduates of the "Zvezditsa-Zornitsa" Kindergarten /with the director - Mrs. Sofia Dimitrova/ and the "Patishon" Private Kindergarten will surely remember the late morning of April 11 - as they attended the creation of a fairy-tale reality in the Opera hall with the ballet performance for children "Palechka" - adaptation, choreography, and direction - Maria Tabakova.
The children were immersed in a beautiful stage reality, recreating the well-known and beloved fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, in which Thumbelina emerges from a magical seed and falls into the world of people, where a lot of vicissitudes and dangers await her, but, as befits every fairy tale, in the end, everything ends in a happy, fair and glamorous way - in the palace of the elves, where love triumphs between Thumbelina, the Elf Prince, the Mother and all the good magical creatures.
The children followed the thread of the magical story not only with attention but also applauded the wonderful performances of the ballet dancers at the right moments, surprisingly adequate for their age - and this is a sign of a good upbringing about art - both in a family environment and in children's institutions, whose graduate they are.
There was a mood in the Opera hall this morning - for the joy of the children present, the teachers, and the artists themselves, for whom the most valuable prize is the love of the audience.
Admirations for the brilliant stage couple, where there is always incredible synchronicity - both technically and emotionally - Palechka - Prince Elf, performed by the Japanese Nanako Sato and the Italian Francesco Russo, who has been in the Burgas Opera troupe for about a year, as well as to all the other wonderful performers: Ilina Konstantinova - as the Fairy who bestows the Mother with the magical seed from which Palechka is "born", and the Mother herself, dreaming of giving birth - Elena Georgieva, Mother Frog - a successful debut in the role for Rafaela -Maria Kühl from Germany, Kircho Zhelyazkov and Shun Kalafune from Japan /also debut/ - as Sons of Frogs, Kiril Filipov - in the roles of Beetle and Mole, Kalina Nedelcheva - as Mishka, Gergana Kozarova and Mina Yalemova - Fairy Tale Creatures.
