On a cold December evening, the Burgas Opera House was undoubtedly a warm emotional haven with a two-hour festive gala.
Under the baton of conductor Tsanislav Petkov, soloists Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Nona Krasnikova, Daniel Damyanov, Yani Nikolov, Alexander Krunev, Branimir Nedkov, Diman Panchev, Kostadin Mechkov, the orchestra, the choir - with conductor Nevena Mihaylova, and the ballet opera, and the ballet, dance creator and tutor - Galina Kalcheva, proved that art is the surest way to beautifully break away from the complicated realities in which we live for almost two years.
Thought, protected concept, bright presence, and wonderfully selected arias, duets, ensembles, and choral parties were present at the concert night - аs a certificate of high quality, as well as a life-giving dose of beauty and meaning for all present in the Opera Hall. Among the audience were seen many young people, regular visitors, representatives of the Municipal Administration, as well as many Russian-speaking guests at the events offered by the Burgas cultural institution.
The name and messages of the Festive Gala were relevant to the mood in the hall. It also spilled over into the intermission, when all guests of the event were offered a compliment from the Terra Tangra wine cellar.
At the end of the concert program, which ended with the emblematic "Toast" from the opera "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi, the traditional basket of flowers on behalf of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov was performed on stage.
