The last concert of the season of the new musical-scenic project of the Burgas State Opera "Morricone - the cinema in notes" was this evening on the open stage in the "Tuida" fortress in the city of Sliven.
After the concert performance last night - in the park of the city of Yambol, this evening the beautiful film music of the legendary Morricone sounds among the ruins of the fortress from the time of the Thracian tribes who lived on these lands, and subsequently - inhabited during the era of the Roman Empire and the Middle Ages.
The proximity of the famous "Blue Stones" above the city added to the atmosphere of the concert, giving the event a special flavor born from the proximity of nature.
Under the baton of maestro Levon Manukyan Conductor, who is also the author of the orchestrations of Ennio Morricone's film music, the soprano Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova and the orchestra of the Burgas State Opera, with concertmaster Hristo Belchev, presented an aesthetic musical evening with strong messages, against the background of the sunset over the mountain and the city.
The musical performance "Cinema in notes" was created according to the idea and script of Julia Manukian. Cleverly chosen announcements to each of the musical themes combined with exciting footage from the respective films whose soundtracks were performed completed the overall experience. The psychological in selection of the visual effects, combined with the internal gradation of the scenario, was guaranteed of a strong emotional impact on the numerous audience that filled the places around the open stage in the fortress.

Undoubtedly, cinema is magic, and the music of Ennio Morricone, who left the physical dimension of this world two years ago - at the venerable age of 91, will remain in the annals of art as a benchmark - for professionalism and that which could not be imitated - the undeniable talent that lives on through the creative legacy.
The wonderful vocal of Maria Tsvetkova-Madjarova also fit perfectly into the "Cinema in notes" program - enhancing the overall perception. In addition to artistic presence, femininity, and a characteristic warm timbre, she also showed improvisational skills - in sync with the movie's messages. The charming singer spontaneously took off her high elegant shoes during one of the performances and danced with graceful movements on stage - both with a random man in the audience and with the conductor.
Maestro Levon Manukyan was again in his characteristic artistic whirl this evening, conducting the wonderful musicians from the orchestra of the Burgas Opera. Both conductors, orchestra, singer, and audience were on the emotional wave of a universally beautiful experience tonight.
Almost at the end of the program, a surprising short rain prevented the audience from experiencing the climax of the concert, but this fact did not mar the overall wonderful impression of the audience from the presentation of the Burgas Opera.
