The opera in two acts "Don Juan" is one of the peaks in the work of the genius Mozart and combines the elements and suggestions of dramatic and comic opera. "Don Juan" is distinguished by dynamic stage action, exquisite musical themes, arias, duets, and ensembles, the images created are bright and memorable. The staging of "Don Juan" has been refined in every detail — both the overall impression and the elements of psychology and acting impact, scenography, costumes, solo performances, duets, ensembles, and the stage presence of the artists have been thought through, everything, in a unified whole, is really at a high professional level, with added aesthetic value. This production has a long stage life, unfolding and developing over the years, it has featured a galaxy of outstanding soloists, each of whom brought their own personal touch and nature to the images.
The performance of "Don Giovanni" implies high professionalism, detailed knowledge of Mozart's music, and the lightness and finesse characteristic of the composer, which, however, are extremely difficult to achieve and require brilliant mastery of the voice and moderation of transitions, dynamics, and purity of interpretation in the ensembles. With Mozart, each note sounds like a separate pearl connected by an exquisite string, but only when it is filled with the necessary dose of familiarity, and respect for his musical genius and polished to its full brilliance. The deep philosophical intention of the director's vision of sin, temptation, suffering, call for revenge, redemption, and the reign of justice is expected to be recreated by the artists. – with understanding and emotional commitment, at the performance on November 17 in the Opera Hall.
