17 november 2023 Mozart's Splendor Under The Baton of Dimitar Kosev At the Opera
A three-hour Mozart splendor was created this evening in the hall of the Burgas State Opera, by the soloists, orchestra, and choir of the Burgas Opera, under the baton of the young guest conductor Dimitar Kosev, who managed to achieve balance, softness, and completeness of the musical-scenic process.
In short, it turned out to be a real show, not just an ordinary performance.
The large audience in the hall, among which quite a few young people were noticed, in addition to regular opera fans, also felt the thrill of birth and co-experience of the true art and messages of Mozart's genius music, skilfully presented and unfolded through the masterful direction of Assoc. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev.
Congratulations to all the soloists - they were united!
Admirations for the wonderful performance in the role of Zerlina by the charming Maria Slavova /guest/, who made an impression on the Burgas audience during her wonderful performance at the First Competition for Young Opera Singers "Stoyan Popov" in 2022!
The tenor Yani Nikolov in the role of Don Ottavio also deserved applause for his strong debut!
