09 may 2021 The Opera Choir - In A Festive Flashmob For Europe Day

On May 9, at 12 noon, the choir of the State Opera - Burgas joined the festive flashmob, organized by the Municipality of Burgas, on the occasion of Europe Day. Immediately before the announced concert of the Burgas Brass Band, the choristers of the State Opera - Burgas, conducted by Nevena Mihaylova, and the Children's Choir "Milka Stoeva", conducted by Svetla Stoeva, accompanied by the Brass Band, under the baton of Anastas Kamilarov, spontaneously began to sing the "Ode to Joy", which is the Anthem of United Europe. The choristers had merged with the audience waiting for the beginning of the concert and their performance was a surprise for those present. Among them were the mayor Dimitar Nikolov, the deputy mayor Diana Savateva, Vessela Yordanova, head of the Department of Culture and Public Relations at the Municipality of Burgas.
