The musical motifs that will be heard at Thursday's concert have woven into themselves the charge of the distinctive taste for life characteristic of South America, as well as the attitude towards the emotional interaction in the dance of a man and a woman, in which a universe of feelings is reflected, the beauty of movements, rhythms in the overtones of passion... Tango is a popular genre in art - there are different directions - tango music, tango poetry and tango dance. It arose in the second half of the 19th century in the middle of the common people in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay. Over time and with its refinement, it gained a higher social status and enormous popularity on several continents. Tango is a philosophy, a specific worldview expressed through the tonality of sensuality and the vortex of emotions.

Maestro Astor Piazzolla is recognized in the history of music as the innovator of Argentine tango, in a unique way raising it from "music of the street" to music performed in concert halls.
