On Saturday / December 18 / at 11 am the State Opera - Burgas will create an occasion for the mood of both children and their parents with the festive morning "Santa Claus is coming to the Opera". The children will meet the good white-bearded old man, who will bring them the long-awaited gifts on the beautifully decorated stage, decorated with a large Christmas tree. The performance "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" to the music of Atanas Kosev will also be presented. The children's audience will follow the exciting plot of the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, with which we, the adults, grew up and with which we told our children - about the tender girl Snow White, her evil and vengeful stepmother, about the seven dwarfs - Professor, Kihlyo, Smeshko, Curious, Omniscient, Murmur and Kid, who accept the beautiful girl with a snow-white face and ebony-black hair in their world ruled by kindness, tolerance, a sense of duty and mutual assistance.
The beloved tale of Snow White and the Dwarves will be presented by the soloists: Shmilena Sultanova - in the role of Snow White, Lina Peeva - as the evil Queen, in the image of the Prince, Snow White's savior, and Mirror - Milen Dinolov / who will play the Mirror /, The narrator, who presents to the audience the main characters and lines in the plot development, will be Branimir Nedkov, Professor - Kalina Popova, Kihlyo - Miroslav Dimitrov, Smeshko - Alexander Perperiev, Curious - Vessela Apostolova, Vseboyko - Peter Tiholov, Marble, Sofia Lovchzhieva - Maria Dobreva.
The director of the children's play is Darina Glavanakova-Bakardzhieva, the scenography is by Ivan Tokadzhiev, the dances are by Galina Kalcheva, the Assistant Directors are Lina Peeva and Petar Tiholov. Artists from the ballet ensemble of the State Opera - Burgas also take part in the performance for children.
"It's wonderful to pass on the magic of children's music!" Says the assistant director of the production Petar Tiholov, who plays the role of the highest dwarf - Vseznayko, in an interview with the Municipal Radio "Voice of Burgas" on the occasion of the fiftieth-anniversary performance. at the children's play "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", which took place in February this year. He talks about the responsibility that opera artists take on, educating children and young spectators from the stage.
The creative longevity of the production is due to the wonderful music and script, the masterful directing, and the wonderful artistic presence of all who will delight the youngest spectators on Saturday, December 18.
Spontaneous, stormy, and full of childlike purity and faith in the good ending of each story are the reactions of the children's audience at the end of each performance of "Snow White". Children are the most accurate barometer of sincerity in art and follow the whole action closely. They react to the dramatic connections in the plot, which everyone knows, but each time, again and again, empathize with the vicissitudes of the good girl with a difficult fate, pursued by her evil stepmother, but protected by noble dwarves. At the end, the children in the Opera Hall express their joy at the happy ending of the story. What is important is the instructive positive ending, which gives hope that the Good can rule not only in fairy tales but also in real life - if we respect the values ​​in which we are brought up.
