The fifth performance of the "Soloists of the State Opera - Burgas" series is coming up on Saturday, February 24, at 11 a.m. in the lobby of the Opera House. Another event of the "Soloists of the State Opera - Burgas" series, the participation of the soloists of the Burgas Cultural Institute: Shmilena Sultanova, soprano, Branimir Nedkov, baritone, and Mira Iskarova, piano, will provide an opportunity for fans of the chamber genre to experience a real aesthetic pleasure with the well-chosen and balanced program of the vocal concert, presented with taste and attitude to the audience by the wonderful soloists and pianist.
The beginning of the new concert cycle in the repertoire of the Burgas Cultural Institute was set with the vocal concert on October 7 of this year, with soloists: soprano Lyudmila Mihailova and baritone Yordan Hristozov, and Daria Krasteva on the piano. This was followed by a concert by the basses of the Burgas Opera - Delyan Slavov, Diman Panchev, and Kostadin Mechkov, accompanied by Iliana Todorova on the piano - on November 4. The third concert of the series was on November 18 - with soloists: soprano Nona Krastnikova and baritone Maryan Yovanoski, Igor Kiriyanov played the piano. The fourth concert - on February 10, presented the soloists Daniela Dyakova and Alexander Krunev, accompanied by Iliana Todorova on the piano.
Days after the concert on Saturday, the soprano Shmilena Sultanova will be a soloist in the operetta by Johann Strauss-son "The Bat" - on February 27 at 7 p.m. in the hall of the Burgas Opera House, and on March 12 her joint stage reincarnation in partnership with Branimir Nedkov is coming up. in another musical masterpiece by Strauss-son - Viennese blood.
The two soloists of the State Opera - Burgas participate in several performances and chamber concerts of the Burgas Cultural Institute. They, together with their fellow soloists, as well as the artists from the choir, the ballet, and the musicians from the orchestra, also took part in the large-scale operetta gala scripted and directed by Mario Nikolov - "Love, champagne and can-can", with which they have officially closed The Burgas Music Festival "Emil Chakarov" - at the beginning of September 2023 on the stage of the Summer Theater. Shmilena Sultanova and Branimir Nedkov were also on the same stage in the musical by Parashkev Khadzhiev "Officers" - at the end of the past calendar year, on the stage of the Opera House. The two soloists had a joint chamber performance in the "Evening of German Music" concert - in 2021 when Daria Krasteva was on the piano.

Mozart; "Habanera", "Segidilla" and "Song of the Toreador" from the opera "Carmen" by Georges Bizet, Aria of King Alphonse from the opera "The Favorite" by Gaetano Donizetti; Duet of Silva and Edwin "Do you remember" from the operetta "The Queen of the Czardasha" by Imre Kalman; Duet of Hanna Glovari and Count Danilo from the operetta "The Merry Widow" by Franz Lehar; Duet of Fred and Lily from the musical "Kiss Me Kate!" by Cole Porter.
