17 february 2020 Students From School "L. Karavelov" Applauded The Four Twins

Today, at 1.30 pm, the performance was presented in the hall of the Burgas Opera House, which provides an opportunity for experiencing fun moments as well as for educational lessons - The Four Twins. The musical comedy by Georgi Kostov, created on the libretto of Pancho Panchev, is the story of four twin brothers from the village of Bliznakovo who like the pretty Bonka / performed by the charming Vesela Apostolova / - a good and well-groomed girl who has to choose a bride from four brothers. Vesela Apostolova also reincarnated in the role of Boncho (destined as a boy - in the fulfillment of a secret mission - to judge which of the four brothers is honest with her and who "costs" as a person /. The four brothers, sons of Chorbadji Petko - Belcho, Pastreo, Cherno, and Zhelcho, were represented by the talented Branimir Nedkov, who managed to be different and influential in each of the images, radically different in psychology and behavior. The role of Stina Gena was Kalina Popova - who presented herself in the role with a humorous approach and a sense of detail, characteristic of "that old-time". Petar Tikholov introduced himself as Chorbadji Petko on the stage - breathing respect and the weight of his father's command, which at the time was law. In the role of the grandmother, a stranger who tells fairy tales, we saw Rositsa Videva. It was in the form of a dignified storyteller of a wonderful tale that ends with a wedding when two young people - Bonka and Zhelcho, one of the twins who keeps his feelings and submits to his actions, take a wonderful wedding.

         Burgas students from the Lyuben Karavelov High School grades touched the stage magic, in which the artists presented a fun and instructive story, in which the conclusion is that the true feelings are not subject to the circumstances, do not fade, on the contrary, amplify over time, the choice of the heart is determined by the scale, which measures good, care, thought and empathy. The students watched the scene with attention and excitement, and at the end of the show, when asked if they liked it, they replied enthusiastically that they genuinely had fun and understood the lesson. The educators accompanying the Burgas children also shared wonderful impressions of the quality of the production and the messages sent to the young people.

       The conductor of the musical comedy The Four Twins is Jordan Dafov, the production is the work of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Tekeliev, directed by Darina Glavanakova-Bakardzhieva, assistant directors are Lina Peeva and Peter Tiholov, the set design is by Ivan Tokadzhiev, artist costumes - Anna Tokadzhieva, dances - by Galina Kalcheva, concertmaster - Yordan Kovachev. The ballet staff of the State Opera - Burgas - which complemented the patriarchal picture and fun action, also took part in the production.
