After the fantastic performance of OPERA ON THE SANCTUARY'24 - RIGOLETTO - on August 10, the Thracian sanctuary of Begliktash "came to life" again in fabulous colors with OPERA ON THE SANCTUARY'24 - AIDA / OPERA ON THE SANCTUARY'24 - AIDA, and the ancient rocks were sounded by the powerful voices of the amazing soloists: Ioana Zhelezcheva, Daniela Dyakova, Valery Georgiev, Maryan Yovanoski, Delyan Slavov, Kostadin Mechkov, Nona Krastnikova, Milen Dinolov, in a brilliant combination with the performances of the orchestra - under the baton of Prof. Dr. Grigor Palikarov, choir - with conductor Alexander Chepanov, ballet - choreographed by Hikmet Mehmedov and tutor Marina Zmeeva-Markova.
If the performance of Verdi's opera at the mystical place could be described with only one word, it would be - super production!
Those lucky enough to get tickets, which were sold out days before the show, witnessed a true mystery in the heart of Strandzha, as the magnificently chosen multimedia environment, blending with the natural mountain scenery, transported the international audience to the era of Ancient Egypt, with its distinctive symbols and artifacts.
