    "ANCESTRAL ROOTS" is a project by Dimitar Hristov, created with the aim of presenting Bulgarian folklore in a contemporary way. It reimagines the tradition through an original concept that blends the powerful sound of a classical choir and symphony orchestra with the energy of traditional Bulgarian instruments. Innovative in both form and content, the project showcases—through the intimate interplay of voices and instruments—some of the finest vocal and instrumental examples of our folklore tradition, brilliantly performed by outstanding contemporary musicians who are soloists of the BNR Folk Music Orchestra.
