08 february 2025 "Little Red Riding Hood" Was Greeted With Applause@Smiles
The cold winter morning and the noble competition at the same hour of two more events for children did not prevent the numerous audience in the hall of the State Opera - Burgas from giving themselves a truly warm and exciting experience - with the children's ballet performance "Little Red Riding Hood", based on the beloved fairy tale by Charles Perrault, both young and old.
The attendees - children from a very young age to schoolchildren, accompanied by their parents and loved ones- followed the famous fairy tale plot and transformed it into a musical and visual extravaganza through ballet art.
Admirations for all the artists who told the magical tale through the beautiful trajectory of their bodies, and especially for Ilina Konstantinova, who literally at the last moment - for valid reasons, replaced Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova. The young ballerina, who also has another role in a ballet performance directed by Maria Tabakova - "Thumbelina", where she plays the Fairy, as well as other impressive roles in productions of the Burgas Opera, did brilliantly, and the excitement of the sudden change did not prevent her from performing convincingly and with finesse. The audience also greeted the other artists with thunderous ovations: the prime ballet dancer Daniel Tichkov was once again a true stage whirlwind in the role of the Wolf, and his comic performances caused spontaneous laughter among those present; Kiril Filipov, a soloist of the ballet troupe, also performed convincingly in his role of the Hunter, who watches over the triumph of justice; Elena Georgieva made a strong debut in the role of Little Red Riding Hood's Mother; Maria Gabarova - in the characteristic role of the Granny, also caused affection and laughter - with her masterfully presented image; The role of Yordan Hristozov was also important - as the Storyteller, who introduces those present to the plot of the fairy tale; the magical forest creatures - bunnies, elves/: Alexandrina Arabska, Andrea Sotirova, Gergana Kozarova and Julia Letsi were also adorable.
Bravo to everyone who created a magical winter morning for the children present in the hall!
After the performance, they took pictures with their favorite characters, brought them flowers - with gratitude, looked at the beautiful costumes, or... pulled the tail of Godfather Wolf.
