15 july 2025 "Patilanci" Once Again Delighted Tundreds Of Children

Today, in the early afternoon of July 15, hundreds of children, graduates of summer children's clubs in Burgas, were an emotional and responsive audience for the performance of "Patilanci", a musical by Alexander Yosifov, in the hall of the Burgas State Opera.
The production was not presented for more than a year, and today it returned brilliantly to the stage. Congratulations on the wonderful debut of Irina Dobrovolskaya in the role of the famous Patilan from the beloved children's fairy tale by Ran Bosilek, "Patilansko tsarstvo. She coped with ease and artistry with the characteristic role, which requires dynamic acting, technical singing, and a fresh sense of humor.
The children in the Opera hall were sympathetic. They reacted with laughter and applause to the cheerful stories of Patilancho, his company - Dana, Gana, Dancho, Gancho, Baba Tsotsolana, "elevated" at the end of the story into Baba Patilana, Aunt Stanislava, who makes wonderful delicious cakes, Uncle Gogo with the guitar, who knows only one song, and annoys with his performances, Uncle Strati, who collects medicinal herbs in the mountains and is slightly hard of hearing, but this makes him even more likeable.
The fun stage commotion with a happy ending caused happy smiles in the children, who reacted to the cheerful, playful moments in the action and joined in with emotional exclamations in a dialogue with the artists.
And the loudest applause and sympathy was caused, of course, by the puppy Lady - in the role of Tiger, which she finds - on a given trail. The "lost" /hidden by the Patilans/ bag of Baba Tsotsolana was finally accepted by her. After a lot of ups and downs, thanks to the ingenuity of all the Patilans, it found shelter in her home.
All the artists and the dog, a Chihuahua breed - Lady, deserved a long applause at the end of the performance.
It cannot be ignored that, although numerous, the audience was responsive and well-mannered, and every encounter with art for the students is an occasion to enrich their worldview, which undoubtedly happens when visiting performances at the Burgas Opera Theater.
