05 november 2023 The Three Basses Of The Burgas Opera With A Concert On Saturday
On the November evening, preceded by an unusual summer hurricane for the season, the concert SOLISTS OF THE STATE OPERA - BURGAS gathered a select audience, which was not afraid of the bad weather and respected the three basses of the State Opera Burgas: Delyan Slavov Delyan Slavoff, Diman Panchev Diman Panchev and Kostadin Mechkov Kostadin Mechkov in their joint concert performance - the second event of the new series "Soloists of the State Opera - Burgas", in the lobby of the Opera House.
The three artists presented famous arias from world opera literature - with stylish presence, professional approach, personal charm, and approach to the audience of the vocal concert in a chamber format.
On the piano was Iliana Todorova, who brilliantly partnered the soloists, bringing out the most characteristic of each of the performed works - in a refined sound and the corresponding mood.
The soloists deserved an encore and performed again the "Couples of Mephistopheles" from the opera "Faust" by Charles Gounod.
There was a lady in the audience who, after the end of the concert program, expressed her admiration for the level of the soloists and the Burgas Opera - in general, and added that she had lived abroad for many years and was pleasantly surprised by what she saw and heard during the performances and the concerts of the Burgas Cultural Institute. She especially congratulated the pianist Iliana Todorova - for the wonderful performance.
In a few days, the three soloists will take part in the masterpiece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart DON JOHN / DON GIOVANNI - on November 17 at 7 pm in the hall of the Burgas Opera House.
Delyan Slavov will be in the role of the most famous seducer Don Juan, Kostadin Mechkov - in the image of Leporello, and Diman Panchev will recreate the character of the Commander.
