26 march 2025 Beauty And Splendor Will Be Presented By The Dance Gala

A magnificent, dizzying combination of dynamics, grace, and delicate drawing of bodies, subordinate to the canons of art, will be witnessed by those present in the hall of the State Opera - Burgas at the large-scale Dance Gala, directed and choreographed by Galina Kalcheva - on March 27 at 7 p.m. in the hall of the Opera.

It is an honor and pleasure for the State Opera - Burgas to invite the audience to a large-scale event that will present prominent ballet soloists and dance formations on our stage. The dance gala, which will charm the admirers of the art, subordinate to the muse Terpsichore, with finesse and mood, and will enchant with the magical effect of dance, filled with dynamics and grace, the hall of the Burgas Opera on Thursday.

The dance gala includes a sensory-affecting selection of classical, modern dances and breathtaking choreographic solutions. The audience will have the opportunity to experience the magic of dance art, in which soloists and artists from the ensemble of the ballet of the Burgas Opera will take part, as well as the excellent young performers from the Dance Formation "Dune", led by Petya Stoykova, who will present their unconventional and impactful program, including compositions created through an innovative approach and methods, in which philosophical messages are woven. The "BLACK STYLE SQUAD" formation with coach Hristo Andonov will also participate in the diverse program, presenting the best of dance art. In the diverse Dance Gala, all participants are an integral element of the overall aesthetic picture of the evening dedicated to dance.

The ballet program includes fragments of ballets: fragments of the ballets "Le Corsaire", "Pachita", "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote", "Masquerade", "Taras Bulba", etc.

Soloists at the Ballet Gala on March 27 will be: Daniela Turtumanova – Stoyanova, prima ballerina of the State Opera – Burgas, Emil Yordanov – premier ballet dancer of the Sofia Opera and Ballet and the Burgas Opera, Daniel Tichkov, premier ballet dancer of the State Opera – Burgas, Teodor Tsakov, soloist of the ballet troupe, winner of the Award of Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas Municipality, on the occasion of May 24 for high achievements in the field of culture; Yana Berduta, soloist of the ballet troupe, Kiril Filipov, soloist of the ballet, Shun Kawafune, Haru Nakagawa, Ilina Konstantinova, Laya Ramon and others. Artists from the ensemble of the Burgas Opera will also take part in the lavish program.
