30 october 2024 A Brilliant Performance Of "Sleeping Beauty" At The Opera House
The evening of October 30 in the hall of the Burgas Opera House was under the spell of ballet - with the classic "Sleeping Beauty" with music by P. I. Tchaikovsky and directed by Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov.
Elegance, homage to the classical original source, high performance class, springing beauty and enchantment of the movements - in sync with the music and the dramaturgy - the whole brilliant symbiosis charged those attending the performance today with a sense of touch with the highest sample of art.
Well done to all the performers who, in less than 10 days, performed for the third time one of the most technically complex ballet productions - after the performances in Balchik - on October 22, and in Vratsa - on October 24, tonight in the hall of The opera they unfolded to the maximum of their capacity and performed with glamour, mood and confidence!
Admirations for the great artists: prima ballerina Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova - Princess Aurora, Teodor Tsakov - Prince Desire, Laya Ramon - Feya Liulyak, Yana Berduta - Feya Karabos, and for all the soloists, ballet dancers from the ensemble and graduates of NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Burgas!
Congratulations to the tutor of the ballet company Galina Kalcheva, who maintains the high level and motivation of all performers!
We remind the admirers of the beautiful art of ballet that the production team and troupe of the ballet of the State Opera - Burgas received the prestigious nomination /among three nominees/ for the "Crystal Lyre" award of the Union of Bulgarian Music and Dance Actors for the premiere of the ballet "Corsair" on directed by Galina Kalcheva.
The awards will be presented on November 1 in the hall of the National Theater "Ivan Vazov" - Sofia. But the nomination is a sufficient attestation for the quality of the creative production of the ballet!
At the end of the brilliant performance, amidst the unceasing applause of the numerous audience, as a sign of respect for the talent and work of the artists, the traditional baskets of flowers were presented on behalf of Prof. Maria Neikova, Regional Governor of Burgas Region, and Mr. Dimitar Nikolov , Mayor of Burgas Municipality.
