"Krastev read a reading in which the elegant gallantry of the expression, brilliantly refined (and in the quietest dynamics, its sound was heard wonderfully because of the way it is extracted), passed subtly, imperceptibly into the long sensuality of the romantic expression. A game of contrasts, of colors, of light and shadows, without unnecessary pathos, with the nature of breath. Krastev masters his instrument perfectly and in such cases there are no troubles for the imagination. In terms of sound and timbre, you get the feeling of unlimited possibilities, which in this case can not (and should not) be revealed, due to (still) the commands of the text. But he knows the power of the cello's voice, he likes to show it, to "seduce" with it - again with a lot of taste and culture. " "Culture" newspaper.
