19 april 2021 Well-Chosen Symphony Concert Program At The Opera Hall
Well-chosen program - difficult technically and selected - as aesthetic messages, a very good instrumental form of the orchestra, precise and emotionally rich conducting, appropriate lighting effects, and stage layout - this is the short business card of the Symphony Concert on Friday night / April 16 / in the hall of Burgas opera, under the baton of conductor Tsanislav Petkov, with concertmaster - Vanya Zlateva! Both the conductor and the orchestras had approached the interpretation of the works responsibly, each carrying different messages and styles. As usual, Tsanislav Petkov was stylish and charming behind the counter, uniting the orchestra in achieving a unified aesthetic impression and a sense of presence at a concert event with the class.
The program included: the beautiful - both as a musical message and as a form, "Sarabande" from the cycle "Classical and Romantic", Op. 24, by Pancho Vladigerov; Symphony №94 "Surprise" in G major / From the London Symphony cycle / by the Viennese classic Josef Haydn and Symphony in D minor by Spanish composer Juan Chrysostomo Ariaga - a less frequently performed, but extremely beautiful and influential work.
On the stage, as an aesthetic-festive addition during the concert, was the traditional flower basket on behalf of the Mayor of Burgas - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov.
