Nona Krustnikova, Daniel Damyanov, Alexander Krunev, Yordan Hristozov and Yani Nikolov / debut / will present the opera Palychi by Ruggiero Leoncavallo on February 11, at 7 pm on the stage of the State Opera - Burgas. Prof. Pavel Gerdzhikov is the director of the complex dramatic performance, characterized by deep psychology in the construction of the images in which the fatalistic elements are interwoven.
The overall gloomy atmosphere and the suggestions, recreated by the soloists and saturated with tragedy and doom, are complemented by the interpretation of the beautiful musical themes of Leonkaval, performed by the orchestra of the State Opera - Burgas, under the conductor baton of maestro Tsanislav Petkov. The conductor of the artistic staff of the Burgas Opera is Nevena Mihaylova. Production designer - Ivan Popov, assistant director - Lina Peeva, concertmaster - Yordan Kovachev.

Nona Krestnikova / in the role of Ned / is one of the most prominent young opera singers in Bulgaria. Her vocal teacher from the very beginning of her musical journey is Prof. Mila Dyulgerova. She has participated in a number of masterclasses, such as those of Anna Tomova - Sintova, Raina Kabaivanska and one of the world's most famous opera primes - Kiri Te Kanava. She has won several competitions - for young opera singers Boris Hristov, Mirabent I Magrans, competitions in Spain, Italy, etc. She has won scholarships from Raina Kabaivanska, the Scholtie Foundation - Great Britain, KUG - Austria and others. He is part of the organizing team of the Ajitato Chamber Music Festival. She is known to the audience for her collage duo, where they perform chamber music together with pianist Maria Ruseva. For the viewers in Burgas, she is Mimi, Michaela, Countess of Figaro's Wedding and Don Elvira in Don Juan, Floria Tosca, Lois Lane / Bianca of Kiss Me, Kate and more.
Daniel Damyanov / in the role of Canio / is a well-known name of the Burgas audience. The tenor of the Sofia and Bourgas operas is known as Samson, Cavaradossi, Pinkerton, Don Jose, Alfred Germon, and others. He performs the central tenor repertoire at the Sofia Opera and Ballet. He is also one of the favorite artists of conductors and directors. He is well known in all opera theaters in Bulgaria and in many opera scenes in Europe. His ability to translate as an actor and vocally into the character he plays is the reason why he is sought after by directors and conductors.
Alexander Krunev, who will reprise his role as Tonio, graduated from SMU "Lyubomir Pipkov" - Sofia, majoring in "singing", and then - DMA "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov “- Sofia, vocal faculty, in the class of Prof. Iliya Yosifov. He also studied with Nikola Nikolov and baritone Sabin Markov. His last vocal teacher is Gena Dimitrova. His first performances were in small roles at the Sofia Opera and Ballet. His debut in the central role is still as a student in the role of Georges Germon in the opera "Traviata", staged by the State Opera - Plovdiv. Since then, his repertoire has grown by seventy roles. Longtime soloist of Sofia Opera and Ballet. Since 2008 he has been a soloist of the State Opera - Burgas. He has toured all over Europe, America, Japan, Korea, Morocco, Algeria. He is the recipient of the Golden Feather Award for his achievements in celebrating Slavic Literacy and Culture Day.

Jordan Hristozov's debut was in 1998 when he took part in joint tours of the Danube Opera - Ruse and Euro Stage - Amsterdam. The baritone continues to develop her talent on the tour of OFD - Pleven and then as a soloist of OFD - Rousse. Soloist of the State Opera - Burgas since 2009. His repertoire includes baritone parts from the operas "Madam Butterfly", "The Barber of Seville", "Traviata", "Bohemia", "Carmen", "The Magic Flute", the musical "Servants" operettas "Countess Maritza", "Gypsy Baron", "Aunt of Charlie" and others.
Yani Nikolov made her debut in the role of Beppe / Harlequin /. The young tenor is a graduate of NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Burgas with a degree in clarinet. He has won numerous awards at home and abroad. Since 2009, a student at the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" - Sofia, majoring in classical singing, in the class of Maria Belcheva. As a student, he was noticed and the first roles were not late. He made his debut on the stage of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, in student projects of Acad. Plamen Kartalov. Participant in many master classes of world singers and musicians such as Carlo Columbara, Roberto Skandyutsi, Luciana Dintino, Christian Benedict, Richard Barker, Darina Takova, Orlin Anastasov, Emil Ivanov, Katya Borisova, Ivan Consulov and others. Participated in opera festivals and concerts in Bulgaria, Greece, Austria, Romania, and Switzerland. The most prestigious of them are Hall Bulgaria with the Sofia Philharmonic, Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture with the Philharmonic - Bucharest. Guest at the European Parliament in Brussels, on the occasion of Bulgaria's national holiday, under the auspices of the Bulgarian Government.
