The dramatic plot of one of the most popular operas in the world always sounds relevant. Regardless of the age in which they live, people invariably carry identical feelings, aspirations, and their relationships are based on universal norms that are not subject to time. The opera has become iconic - not only because of the beautiful music of Georges Bizet, characterized by exquisite melodic lines and musical motifs, which have gained independent popularity but also because of the story, which continues to excite and provoke mixed feelings.
Behind the conductor's stand will be maestro Ivan Kozhuharov, who has the talent and capacity to turn any performance or concert under his baton into a musical event. In the role of the famous passionate gypsy Carmen, who is the object of strong and uncontrollable feelings, insane jealousy leading to a fatal outcome, will be the incredible mezzo-soprano Daniela Dyakova, who does not hide her passion and emotional connection with this complex dramatic role. Her dense and rich voice, with a richness of timbre nuances, is extremely suitable for the controversial image she will build on the stage of the Burgas Opera on March 31.
At the end of 2021, the soloist of the Burgas Opera participated in the spectacular opera concert Opera D'Amore in the capital's Arena Armeec, in the stellar artistic company of maestro Jose Carreras and other prominent names on the world opera scene. At the performance on March 10, the famous mezzo-soprano Daniela Dyakova will be in partnership with tenor Georgi Dinew /guest/, who will play the role of Don Jose - torn by internal contradictions.
