The next - fifth, event from the calendar of the Burgas Music Festival "Emil Chakarov" 2021, which are held on the stage of the Summer Theater - Burgas for the fourteenth consecutive year, performed by the State Opera - Burgas and the Municipality of Burgas, is the Dance Gala - on Saturday, June 26 from 20.30 on the open stage in the Seaside Park. State Opera - Burgas is an honor and pleasure to invite the Burgas audience and guests of the city to a quality event that will present on our stage prominent ballet soloists and dance groups. They will charge the admirers of the art, subordinated to the muse Terpsichore, with finesse and mood and will enchant with the magical effect of the dance.

The dance gala, which includes an attractive selection of classical, modern dances and breathtaking acrobatic combinations, will bring finesse, beauty, dynamism, and mood to the Summer Theater on the weekend. The audience will have the opportunity to experience the magic of dance, in which will take part: the prima ballerina of the Sofia Opera and Ballet Marta Petkova, the soloists of the Burgas Opera: Ivanina Ivanova, Emil Yordanov, Polina Ivanova, Daniel Tichkov, Yana Berduta, Teodor Tsakov, ballet artists: Anelia Ivanova, Bianca-Helen Giovanelli, Daniela Turtumanova, Elena Georgiev, Eleonora Miteva, Iva Ovcharova, Ivana Fialkovska, Maria Gabarova, Natalie Ivanova, Patricia Soares, Kiril Filipov, Svetlan Nikolov, Stefan Tipikov and The wonderful performers from the Dune Dance Ensemble, led by Petya Stoykova, will present their non-standard and influential program, including compositions created through an innovative approach and methods in which philosophical messages are intertwined. The young acrobats from the Club of Sports Acrobatics "Neftohimik 2011", led by Diana Koleva, will create an explosion of the dynamics of the stage with their combinations, in which super-difficult elements alternate. The ballet ensemble of the State Opera - Burgas - will also take part in the rich and varied program of the Dance Gala as an inalienable element of the overall aesthetic picture of the evening dedicated to dance.

The ballet program includes fragments from the ballets: "Swan Lake" and "Sleeping Beauty" by P.I.Tchaikovsky / directed and directed by Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov /, "Don Quixote" by Ludwig Minkus, "Corsair" by Adolf Adam, "Esmeralda" by Cesar Puni, ballet miniatures to the music of Daniel Francois Ober and Manuel de Faia, Mikhail Glinka, choreography by Galina Kalcheva, as well as current compositions with a modern sound, performed by the Dance Ensemble "Dune". A kind of artistic accent in the program will be Adagio by Carmen and Don Jose from the ballet "Carmen" by Georges Bizet - Rodion Shchedrin, performed by the prima ballerina of the Sofia Opera and Ballet Marta Petkova and Prime Minister ballet dancer Emil Yordanov.

The dance gala is an idea of ​​Galina Kalcheva, a longtime prima ballerina of the State Opera - Burgas and a tutor of the ballet ensemble. At the end of April this year, she successfully debuted as a director and director of the premiere of "Giselle", which was played twice with great success, as both performances were in less than 20 days. "Giselle" will be presented during the Burgas Music Festival - on July 14 at 20.30 on the stage of the Summer Theater - Burgas.

Galina Kalcheva is the prima ballerina of the State Opera - Burgas. Student of the prima ballerina Evgenia Krasteva. Her repertoire includes the roles of Juliet, Giselle, Pahita, Salome, Cinderella, Demna, Konstanz, Masha, and others. He has toured in France, Austria, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, Macedonia, and others. She taught classical ballet at NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov ”- Burgas, a teacher at the Children's Ballet School “Kapka ”. Winner of "Crystal Lyre" of the Union of Music and Dance, a graduate of the Ministry of Culture for contribution to the development of Bulgarian culture, winner of an award for outstanding contribution to the development of ballet at the Annual Awards for Fashion and Show Business in Burgas. Winner of an award of the Municipality of Burgas on the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture.
