15 april 2024 Edelina Kaneva, Orlin Goranov&Orlin Pavlov in "Ah, this musical"
On April 16, Tuesday, at 7 p.m., a star-studded, emotional, and memorable performance of the three famous and beloved singers: Edelina Kaneva, Orlin Goranov, and Orlin Pavlov, will take place on the stage of the State Opera - Burgas with the concert "Ah, this musical!"
Under the baton of the doyenne maestro Yordan Dafov, the three wonderful soloists, the orchestra, and the choir of the State Opera - Burgas will tell the dramatic story of modern Romeo and Juliet - about the struggle between reason and feelings, about the power of prejudices, about the beauty of feelings, about the aspirations of the heart that—always, invariably—suffers the consequences of its emotional choices.
In addition to the orchestral performance of the suite from "Porgy and Bess", the wonderful soloists, accompanied by the orchestra and choir of the Burgas Opera, will present orchestral, vocal, and dance scenes from "West Side Story" /The Love of Maria and Tony/ by Leonard Bernstein and symphonic paintings from the opera "Porgy and Bess" by George Gershwin. All this, as a musical-emotional combination, the audience in the Opera Hall will have the opportunity to see, hear, feel, and experience on Tuesday evening. The conductor of the choir of the Burgas Opera is Alexander Chepanov, the concertmaster is Hristo Belchev.
The three famous soloists need no introduction – they are frequent and welcome guests on the Burgas stage. After the concert to a full house in the Opera in November 2023, Edelina Kaneva and Orlin Goranov continue their successful national tour with the musical-stage project under Deyan Pavlov's palace "A Tale for Two". The director of the Music Theater Edelina Kaneva and the popular singer and actor Orlin Pavlov gathered a large audience last summer with the concert "Don't Go Away, Summer" on the island of St. Anastasia, conducted by Levon Manukyan, and an additional ship was allocated to the Island – because of the many applicants. It is expected that on Tuesday the three beloved performers will once again gather an emotional audience and perform in the hall of the State Opera - Burgas with the wonderful concert performance "Ah, this musical", which will impress the tastes of both young people and the older generation.
