On the warm summer evening of July 3rd, on the stage of the Summer Theater Burgas - Official page, a sad story was told - about the tragic denouement of life's knots, intertwined in fateful predestination - with the womderful music of Giuseppe Verdi and his musical-dramatic masterpiece "Ball with masks".
The audience followed - with bated breath, the exciting story, subject to the pure feelings marked by impossibility.
A strong dramaturgical line, brought out in the directorial decisions of Associate Professor Dr. Alexander Tekeliev, emotional saturation, brought out in psychologically argued images, magnificently affecting performance - of soloists, orchestra, choir, and ballet - all components of a performance of the highest level of sensory and intellectual perception were present tonight!
Hot applause was deserved: the conductor - maestro Ivan Kozhuharov, unappealing as always, and all the performers who turned the open stage in Primorsky Park into an arena of diverse human feelings, mysteries, insidious conspiracies leading to tragic death...
At the end of the performance, another from the calendar of the Burgas Music Festival "Emil Chakarov" 2023, carried out by the State Opera - Burgas and the Municipality of Burgas, the traditional basket of flowers was presented on behalf of the mayor - Mr. Dimitar Nikolov.
