The third musical event of the summer calendar of the State Opera - Burgas in the program "Island Party" 2021 is the concert performance "Latino Pulse" - on July 31 at 9 pm on the open stage of the island "St. Anastasia" / Attractive music and stage project is another aesthetic challenge of the conductor Svilen Simeonov. On the stage of the island of St. Anastasia, which has become a favorite place to experience exciting moments, combining travel by sea, admiring the romantic sunset, and the pleasure of contact with beautiful music, on Saturday will be arranged arrangements of the maestro of famous and beloved Latin rhythms. They have woven the charge of the original taste for life typical of South America, as well as the attitude to the emotional interaction in the dance of a man and a woman, which reflects a universe of feelings, the beauty of movements, rhythms, and overtones of passion. …

On Saturday night on the Island will be arranged the arrangements of maestro Simeonov to famous Latin rhythms, adapted for symphony orchestra, flamenco ballet, and electric violin. They contain the typical South American perception of the world and hyper-emotionality, combined with dynamic choreography - performed by the ballet ensemble of the State Opera - Burgas. Through the signs and messages of the bodies, they will complete the overall picture of Latino Pulse. The choreography is by Galina Kalcheva, concertmaster - Hristo Belchev. The young violinist Ralitsa Petkova will perform the solo parts of the acoustic and electric violin. She is well known to the Burgas audience - she has participated in other projects carried out with the orchestra of the Burgas Opera, also under the baton of Svilen Simeonov.

The Latino Pulse will feature the passionate rhythms of the essence of Latin music: bossa nova, samba, habanera, brazileira, rumba, milonga, cha-cha-cha, hota, farandola, aragon, sigidilia. Under the motto of Jacques Cocteau: "Flamenco artists do not sing or play. They spew fire and put it out with their feet. The violinist Ralitsa Petkova, the orchestra, and the ballet dancers, under the direction of Svilen Simeonov, will create a real emotional and visual explosion on the open stage on the island of St. Anastasia.
