In the early afternoon today, November 4, hundreds of students from Burgas schools: Primary School "Peyo Yavorov", Secondary School "Dobri Chintulov", Primary School "St. Kliment Ohridski", and graduates of the III "b" group of the Kindergarten "Rakovina" - the city of Burgas were an emotional and responsive audience for the performance of the newest children's production in the repertoire of the Burgas State Opera - HANSEL AND GRETEL.
Although numerous, the most grateful audience - the children's, carefully followed the fairy-tale thread of the plot, presented by the ballet artists of the Burgas Opera with much love, their inherent finesse and attitude towards the audience.
Before the performance, the children from the III "b" group "Chaika" of the Kindergarten "Rakovina", at the request of their teachers, visited the opera theater "behind the scenes". The graduates of the kindergarten had the opportunity to get acquainted with the atmosphere in the wardrobe - with thousands of stage costumes, shoes, and accessories, the room in which the props of the numerous productions are stored, the dressing rooms where the artists transform into various characters, the stage on which they then followed the captivating plot of "Hansel and Gretel". Lina Peeva, assistant director at the State Opera - Burgas, acted as a kind of guide in the mystery of the opera theater for them.
The children will certainly retain in their memory the emotion of their first contact with the magic of the Theater.
