07 february 2025 A Lavish Vienna Gala Delighted The Large Audience On Friday
Splendor, beauty, sophistication, aristocracy, taste, and grace - all this, combined with the wonderful music of Johann Strauss-son, was presented - in its full stage splendor, this evening in the hall of the Burgas State Opera with the VIENNA GALA, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the "king of the waltz", as the great Austrian composer is rightly called.
Under the baton of Prof. Deyan Pavlov, who was not only behind the conductor's desk but also in the role of the host of the concert program, an exciting stage extravaganza swirled in the Opera hall, which led those present as if into the ballroom atmosphere of the famous Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. The multimedia also contributed to the overall perception, which complemented the overall visual charm.
Each of the soloists: sopranos Lyudmila Mihaylova, Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova, Nona Krastnikova, and Shmilena Sultanova, tenor Yani Nikolov, baritone Yordan Hristozov and bass Diman Panchev, were completely on the same wave of aristocratic festivity.
The musicians of the orchestra - with concertmaster Vanya Zlateva, the choristers - with conductor Alexander Chepanov, and the ballet dancers - with rehearser Marina Zmeeva-Markova were also brilliant in their interpretation. All of them jointly created a memorable musical and stage product of high aesthetic value.
On the beautiful stage - as a natural addition, there was also the traditional basket of flowers on behalf of Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas Municipality.
At the end of the concert program, the conductor - maestro Deyan Pavlov, thanked the mayor for the floral greeting, as well as the emotional audience, promising many more such exciting events on the Burgas stage, and not only.
The large-scale Vienna Gala will be presented in a few days - on February 11, at the Atrium Center in the town of Nessebar, and the next day - February 12, again under the bat of Prof. Pavlov, the audience in Nova Zagora will welcome another attractive project of the Burgas Opera - the operetta gala "Love, Champagne and Can-Can".

The last piece that sounded in the Opera hall was the Fast Polka "Light Blood", to the rhythm of which the soloists, ballet dancers chorus, and musicians from the orchestra performed with final bows, under the unceasing ovations of the numerous audience.
