13 december 2024 Magic At The Opera With "The Nutcracker"

A festive end to the year on the Burgas stage for the ballet troupe of the State Opera - Burgas with the performance of "The Nutcracker" this evening in the Opera hall was created by all the wonderful ballet dancers: soloists, artists from the ensemble and graduates of the Children's Ballet Theater Kapka.
The most Christmas ballet to Tchaikovsky's music was presented in its full splendor by inspired artists who told the wonderful tale, loved by both children and adults, which at the end of each year reminds us that we should believe in the Good that creates pre-Christmas miracles. Even if they are only like a fairy-tale stage shine, they exist.
Thanks to Galina Kalcheva - the ballet troupe's rehearser, to the wonderful soloists: Daniela Turtumanova-Stoyanova, and Haru Nakagawa - with a brilliant debut in the role of the Nutcracker, Kiril Filipov, Gergana Georgieva, Anelia Ivanova, Kalina Nedelcheva, Natali Ivanova, Rafaela-Maria Küll, as well as to all the other soloists and artists from the ensemble - they were truly inspired in creating the overall beauty of the stage!
The hall was full of an emotionally responsive audience, which gave each wonderfully presented solo and ensemble performance well-deserved ovations.
Today's performance was also with a social cause - the hall was attended by users of the Protected and Transitional Housing in Bata for people with mental retardation with manager Zoya Ovcharova, who were happy to have the opportunity to experience the beauty of ballet art and the mastery of the artists.
At the end of the festive performance, traditional baskets of flowers were presented on behalf of the Regional Governor of Burgas Region - Prof. Maria Neykova, on behalf of Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, Mayor of Burgas Municipality, special thanks and a gift on behalf of Galina Kalcheva - for the dedication of all ballet dancers - both in the preparation and in their brilliant performance during the numerous performances - on tour and the Burgas stage.
Good luck to the ballet troupe and their last performance for the outgoing year 2024 - on December 17 in the city of Kardzhali - "The Sleeping Beauty", also a production by Prof. Hikmet Mehmedov, as well as "The Nutcracker", which has been performed with consistent success in Burgas and various cities in Bulgaria for more than 20 years.
