17 may 2021 Magnificence Of Sound, Dance And Pictures In "Time Travel" The baroque concert was an exquisite stage gem for connoisseurs

On Sunday evening, May 16, those present at the concert performance "Time Travel" in the hall of the Burgas Opera felt like chosen - they had the chance to experience a different concert in which the Baroque style in art was presented syncretically - through music, dance and visual presentation of architectural and artistic masterpieces in the form of multimedia.
And each of the elements was filigree - to the brilliance and detailed elegance typical of the era.
They sounded - like in a temple, beautiful melodies that not only bring incomparable sensory and aesthetic pleasure, but also seem to open a portal in space-time, where Perfection is so close ...
Stories with a taste of legends about queens, princes, knights, love, intrigue, palace affairs, united by the incomparable finesse and class of the Baroque era, were told by the two soprano voices of Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova and Nona Krastnikova, who combined brilliantly both as timbres and as emotional cohesion. The musical elegance was sculpted under the exquisite piano accompaniment - with remarkable tone extraction and beautifully constructed dynamics by Mira Iskarova. The less frequently performed, but extremely purifying and carrying the strange beauty of frozen lava music by Handel, Rameau, Vivaldi, Purcell, was masterfully incorporated into an exquisite multimedia visualization of the Louvre, the Hermitage, Petra, the Egyptian pyramids and other masterpieces born of . Perception was polyphonic and multidimensional.
The wonderful, subtle and unobtrusive stage presence of the choreographer of "Time Travel" - the ballerina Patricia Soares - was skillful, with an understanding of the music and aesthetic messages of the baroque.
A surprising element in the program was the stage performance of Marko Madjarov, a graduate of NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov", who is a brilliant flutist and performs in symphonic and opera performances of the Burgas Opera. But tonight he brought a fresh choreographic update to the aesthetics of baroque music - with a performance of ... break.
For the refined vision of the project, the Burgas audience should thank Diana Avelova - a young artist who studies fine arts and costume at the Academy of Performing Arts in Paris. Although she was physically over a thousand kilometers away, she was emotionally present in the hall.
Last but not least - as a significance in the overall picture, the performers' respect for the audience should be mentioned - as a high culture of musical and stage expression, behavior and stylish vision, in line with the aesthetics of the concert "Time Travel".
At the end of the concert evening, the traditional basket of flowers was presented by the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov.
It was beautiful - from all angles of sensory perception.
